About us
Lost Pond Press is an independent book publisher in Saranac Lake, New York. It was founded by Phil Brown, the editor of the Adirondack Explorer, a nonprofit newsmagazine with a focus on environmental issues and outdoor recreation. Our first title was Bob Marshall in the Adirondacks, a collection of the writings of the pioneering wilderness advocate (and one of the original Adirondack Forty-Sixers). Our other titles include Adirondack Paddling and Adirondack Birding, published with the Adirondack Mountain Club, and two suspense novels by Michael Virtanen, both set in the Adirondacks.
